The rapid iteration of artificial intelligence is driving the development of "digital healthcare". Digital technology has been innovatively applied in scenarios such as intelligent assisted diagnosis, surgical robots, and intelligent rehabilitation, driving the improvement of medical health quality, efficiency, and transformation of medical models, and advancing medical and health services to higher levels. Recently, the "2023 China Health Equipment and Technology Conference and the Third China Health Management International Forum" jointly hosted by the Health Management Equipment and Technology Branch of the China Medical Equipment Association and Shanghai Health Medical College opened at Shanghai Health Medical College. The conference focuses on the interdisciplinary construction of new medical and engineering disciplines, equipment and technology innovation, clinical transformation and application, and invites well-known domestic and foreign experts and scholars to discuss industry development trends, enhance the academic influence of health management in the national medical and health service field, and promote high-quality development of the health industry.

As of the end of 2022, the number of medical device manufacturing enterprises in China exceeded 30000, among which industrial enterprises above designated size had a main business income of 757.7 billion yuan, forming a group of collaborative and distinctive industrial clusters. However, there are still problems such as low R&D investment, weak innovation ability, high technical barriers in the high-end market, and low industry concentration. Yu Qingming, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China National Pharmaceutical Holdings Co., Ltd., mentioned in a speech titled "The Digital Development Path of China's Medical Device Industry" that China has become the world's second largest medical device market after the United States. He believes that the current development trend of China's medical device industry is first driven by innovation, followed by Chinese manufacturing, scale customization, digital transformation, and ecological competition. He called for strengthening clinical demand and medical industry cooperation in the future, assisting in medical transformation, and accelerating the industrialization of scientific research achievements; Aggregating the advantages of multiple resources from industry, academia, and research, building a new transformation platform, exploring new transformation mechanisms, breaking through key common technical barriers, empowering clinical transformation needs through multiple links, and "building bridges and roads" are the key links to accelerate the transformation and listing of clinical innovation achievements.

The development of health management and related equipment technology is currently in an important strategic opportunity period. The development of the new generation of artificial intelligence technology has brought new opportunities for the transformation and upgrading of the medical and health industry, and digital technology is changing the development mode of the health field. Hou Yan, Chairman of the China Medical Equipment Association, stated that full attention should be paid to health management throughout the entire life cycle, to meet the health needs of the people from birth to aging, actively build a diversified service system, provide more comprehensive and convenient health services, create more innovative and intelligent products, and adapt to the current development needs of active health and family health.
